Mediation Fails, Fraud Case Involving Central Lombok KPU Chair Continues

The NTB - Police continued the alleged fraud case with the alleged perpetrator of the Central Lombok General Election Commission (KPU) chairman with the initials HH against his victim, a man with the initials RH after mediation efforts failed to reach a peace agreement.

"Yes, some time ago there was mediation, but there was no way out. So, we will continue this case," said Head of the Public Relations Section of the Central Lombok Police, Iptu Lalu Brata by telephone, Tuesday, September 24, quoted by Antara.

In handling cases, the police have invited and asked for clarification of a number of witnesses including the Chairman of the Central Lombok KPU HH and also the reporter.

However, the request for clarification departed from the complaint, not yet a police report that the police can follow up on to the investigation process.

Therefore, the Central Lombok Police advised the reporter to make a police report so that it could become the basis for the police to continue the legal process.

The head of the Central Lombok KPU was reported to the police for allegedly committing a criminal act of fraud worth Rp431 million against the complainant.

This alleged fraud case is related to the cement procurement cooperation between RH's company, namely CV Tiga Sakti and the West Nusa Tenggara Regional Secretariat Bureau and CV PP as cement suppliers.

The project value is IDR 1.2 billion. The reporter was promised a profit by the reported HH, 50 percent of the procurement project.
