Case Of Boy Run Over By Car In Ciputat Rises Investigation, Police Endus Identity Driver

TANGERANG - The case of a boy with the initials IKA (3) who was the victim of a hit-and-run and was caught in a car in the Ciputat area, South Tangerang (Tangsel) has been investigated.

"The case of a traffic accident in Cipayung has been upgraded to the investigation stage, which is in the process of being investigated," said South Tangerang Police Traffic Head AKP Rokhmatullah in his statement, Sunday, September 15.

He said that his party was continuing to investigate to find out the identity of the car driver.

"Do it comprehensively using the Scientific Crime Investigation method," he said.

The police also coordinate with various parties, one of which is with criminal experts and traffic experts. This is done to strengthen the determination of the status in the case.

"Cooperating in handling this case by involving several internal experts from the National Police, namely TAA

"(Traffic Accident Analysis) and also external party experts, namely criminal experts and experts from road traffic and transportation," he said.

Head of Gakkum Satlantas South Tangerang Police, Ipda Marulloh, explained that this incident began when a car was traveling on Jalan RE Martadinata, Gang Rambutan, Cipayung, Ciputat on Tuesday, September 10 afternoon.

At the same time, IKA who was crossing over was hit by the car. Instead of helping the victim who suffered head injuries, the car driver fled.

"As a result of the incident, the child with the initials IKA suffered head injuries, and was taken to Sari Asih Hospital Ciputat for medical treatment," said Marulloh.
