Cak Lontong: Mas Pramono Knows Jakarta, If Bang Doel Is Jakarta Tofu

JAKARTA - The head of the winning team for Pramono Anung-Rano Karno, Lies Hartono or Cak Lontong said that the candidate pair for Governor-Deputy Governor of Jakarta who was promoted by PDIP was a complete package.

Both Pramono and Rano, according to him, have sufficient provisions to win the 2024 Pilkada in Jakarta. Pramono has a qualified track record as a former member of the DPR to Cabinet Secretary.

Meanwhile, Rano has been known to many Jakarta residents since becoming the actor of the soap opera Si Doel Anak Sekolah. This was revealed by Cak Lontong after holding the inaugural meeting of the Pramono-Rano success team (timses).

"What I want to say is that our candidate for governor, Mas Pram knows Jakarta. Now on the left, Bang Doel Jakarta knows. Hehehe. Right?" said Cak Lontong at the Pramono-Rano winning house, Jalan Cemara Number 19, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Sunday, September 15.

Cak Lontong admitted that his position as team leader was successful, only completing the needs of Pramono-Rano's winning strategy in the Jakarta Pilkada.

Given that he has had a career as a comedian, Cak Lontong feels there is no problem if he leads the winning team with a cheerful narrative.

"So, maybe what I'm tasked with is just a complement. Just thickening, yes," said Cak Lontong

"That's why if he (Pramono) knew about Jakarta, he (Rano) Jakarta knew, um I was in Jakarta all of a sudden," continued Cak Lontong jokingly.

In the inaugural meeting which was held for about an hour, Pramono Anung emphasized that his campaign team did not take advantage of identity politics and played the narrative of ethnic division while carrying out the Jakarta gubernatorial election campaign later.

In addition, Pramono said that he and Rano had explained the results of spending on problems from the results of their meetings with a number of Jakarta residents.
