Toilet Near TKP Doctors Died Raped At Indian Hospital Renovated, Allegedly To Eliminate Traces

JAKARTA - The renovation of the toilet near the scene of the doctor (TKP), an intern, was raped in the RG Kar Kolkata Hospital Medical School (RS) seminar hall, sparked speculation. Renovations carried out shortly after the incident are suspected of eliminating traces.

Quoting the Hindustan Times, a number of left-wing groups from the Bharatiya Janata Party accused the authorities at RG Kar Kolkata Hospital of trying to damage evidence related to the incident.

Masses of students from the Indian Democratic Youth Federation (DYFI) and the Indian Student Federation (SFI) who demonstrated near the ER entrance RG Kar Kolkata also voiced the same.

DYFI and SFI accused RG Kar Kolkata Hospital of trying to destroy evidence and protect the real perpetrators. So far the police have only named a civilian police officer named Sanjay Roy as a suspect.

Bharatiya Party leader Janata Party (BJP) Bengal, Sukanta Mazumdar on Thursday said that the renovation of the toilet near the crime scene was based on the order of the former Head of the Medical College RG Kar Kolkata Hospital, Sandip Ghosh.

Sukanta also showed evidence of an alleged renovation project letter signed by Sandip dated August 10.

The role of Sandip Ghosh after the rape accompanied by the murder of an intern doctor is indeed in the spotlight. The reason is that the family received information that the victim committed suicide from RG Kar Kolkata Hospital, which at that time was led by Sandip Ghosh.

Even the victim's father said that he could not immediately see his daughter's body by waiting more than three hours while in the hospital.

India's Supreme Court also questioned the Bengal Regional Government for being late in conveying information on cases of unnatural deaths to the authorities.

On the one hand, Sandip Ghosh was arrested by Indian intelligence, CBI earlier this week. He is suspected of being involved in financial irregularities at RG Kar Kolkata Hospital, including the sale of corpses.
