PKS Denies Jakarta Residents Reject Ridwan Kamil

JAKARTA - Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives from the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) faction, Iskan Qolba Lubis, denied that Jakarta residents were said to reject the figure of a candidate for Governor Ridwan Kamil (RK). Because according to him, not all PKS supporters are supporters of Anies Baswedan.

"No. It is impossible for all (PKS supporters are Anies supporters, ed)," said Iskan, Friday, September 6.

Iskan emphasized that PKS voters are very rational voters. So according to him, if there are residents who shout at Anies' name when visited by RK, it does not mean refuse.

"So PKS has a system, the estimates have been calculated. So take it easy," said Iskan.

Iskan believes that voters in Jakarta are very rational. This, he said, could be seen from the results of the legislative elections in Jakarta.

Where this year's Legislative Election can be won by PKS. In fact, five years earlier the PDIP chaired the most DPRDs were obtained by PDIP.

"Once PPP, PKS, PKS has twice, has PDIP, so I think Jakarta is a very rational person," said Iskan.

Iskan assessed that Jakarta residents are open to anyone running as a cagub. Therefore, he believes that PKS cadres in Jakarta will move to win the RK-Suswono.

"He's war, it's an idea war. I think I'll give everyone the opportunity, right, all the nation's children too, right," said Iskan.

"Well, PKS has a big wave. If he has been traveling everywhere, PKS is a system. In the past, when Anies was in DKI, the survey lost to Anies. PKS moved," he said.

Previously, the Head of Jakarta, Ridwan Kamil (RK), admitted that he was graceful after being shouted at while attending the grand birthday (haul) Al Imam Al Arifbillah Al Quthub Al Habib Hasan bin Muhammad Al Haddad (Mbah Priok) in Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta.

"I have experienced two similar regional elections. So I don't do anything, I am accepted gracefully, thank you for the expressions," said RK in the Menteng area, Central Jakarta, Thursday, September 5.

Although residents shouted at the name of former DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan when RK came to the grand title of Mbah Priok, Ridwan Kamil did not mind that. Because according to RK, he was to fulfill the invitation.

"If it is rejected, I will not (permit) the podium. So there I am respected too," said RK.
