PSI Secretary General: Kaesang Has Been In Jakarta Since August 28

PSI DPP Secretary General Raja Juli Antoni revealed PSI Chairman Kaesang Pangarep has been in Jakarta since Wednesday (28/8).

"Mas Kaesang Pangarep has been in Jakarta since August 28, 2024 in the morning," Raja said in a statement quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, September 3.

Raja said that after arriving at the Zuhur prayer, he chaired a coordination meeting to finalize the election support and sign a recommendation file at the PSI DPP office.

In addition, Raja said that Kaesang is almost every day based after arriving in Jakarta.

"If I don't leave the city, afternoon or evening after office hours, I personally always meet Mas Kaesang to discuss preparations for the 2024 Pilkada," he said.

For information, Kaesang Pangarep suddenly disappeared after the alleged receipt of the gratuity of a private jet because his family was a state administrator.

The KPK is preparing an invitation letter to Kaesang Pangarep to clarify the alleged gratification that was widely discussed on social media.

"The letter is under concept, an invitation letter," said KPK Deputy Chair Alexander Marwata at the KPK's Red and White building, Jakarta, Friday (30/8).

Erina Gudono (wife) and Kaesang have received a lot of attention on social media lately, one of which is about the suspicion that the two of them used private jets when traveling to the United States.

The alleged gratification was discussed by netizens, such as on social media X after Kaesang Erina Gudono's wife uploaded views from inside a private jet via Instagram social media.

Alex said that Kaesang could also declare for himself the issues addressed to him and directly answer various questions from the public about the issue.

"Before inviting, sometimes the party we will clarify has declared it related to the news in the community. Good for those concerned, whether it will stop the clarification made by the KPK, of course according to the needs of the Deputy for Prevention and Monitoring," he said.
