Encourages Improvement Of Hajj Implementation Regulations, Vice President: Important Communication Don't Close

JAKARTA - Vice President (Vice President) Ma'ruf Amin said the government continues to strive to improve the quality of organizing Hajj and Umrah through guidance, services, and protection for pilgrims.

"So that worship can be carried out safely and comfortably in an orderly manner and in accordance with the provisions of Islamic law," said the Vice President in his remarks at the Inter-Travel Hajj and Umrah Gathering Forum (SATHU) and the Muslim Association of Hajj and Umrah Organizers of the Republic of Indonesia (AMPHURI) in Jakarta, Monday, September 2, confiscated by Antara.

Therefore, the Vice President asked for the support of all relevant stakeholders so that the services for organizing Hajj and Umrah will improve in the coming years.

"This improvement requires the support of all parties, including the governing body and supervisory of Islamic community organizations, ulama, association of Hajj and Umrah travel service providers such as all of you present," said the Vice President.

According to him, if there are regulations that still need to be perfected, related to the implementation of Hajj and Umrah, it can be communicated.

The vice president also understands that organizing the pilgrimage requires considerable economic resources, including travel and transportation administration guidance activities, consumption accommodation, and health services.

"If there are regulations that still need to be perfected, everything is communicated. Communication is important, don't close it, there will be no improvements later, this is what I hope," he said.

Therefore, the Vice President hopes that all providers of travel services for Hajj and Umrah organizers, especially all members of the SATHU Forum, will prioritize the quality of service to the people rather than just business interests.

"The business is allowed, but the first intention is Khidmah Khidmatul Jamaah. So, that's the number one intention, don't do business in front of the solemnity behind you, there will be no value of worship," said the Vice President.

The Vice President also emphasized that the implementation of the pilgrimage and Umrah is a large and large field of worship and must be accounted for to Allah SWT.

"For this reason, the services provided must remain trustworthy, fair, and beneficial for all. I believe and trust that all members and ranks of the Hajj, AMPHURI, and others under the auspices of the SATHU forum have fulfilled the expectations of the Muslim community according to Islamic law and applicable regulations," he said.
