Kopasgat Kepri 462 Command Battalion Receives 5 New Armored Combat Vehicles

JAKARTA - The Battalion of Command 462 Kopasgat TNI AU received P2 Tiger and P6 All Terrain Assault Vehicle (ATAV) tactical combat vehicles.

The vehicle was given by the ranks of Kopasgat officials and received directly by the Commander of the 462 Kopasgat Command Battalion Major Pas Wahyu Kurniawan at the Kopasgat 462 Command Battalion shelter, Pekan Baru, Riau, Monday 2 September

The 5 tactical combat vehicles received are P6 ATAV V3 (RCWS+GDS), one ATAV GDS (Non-RCWS) P6 unit, one P2 Tiger (RCWS+GDS) unit, one Tiger P2 Unit (Non-RCWS, Non-GDS) and one P2 Recovery unit.

"The vehicle we received is a form of attention from the Kopasgat leadership and it is hoped that all soldiers, especially rantis drivers, will always carry out routine maintenance of vehicles," Wahyu Kurniawan said in an official press release from the Indonesian Air Force Kopasgat, Monday, September 2, which was confiscated by Antara.

According to Wahyu, routine maintenance of the vehicle must be carried out so that the unit can be used optimally while carrying out the mission.

Not only rantis, Wahyu continued that his party got two transport trucks to escort soldiers in carrying out their duties.

With this additional combat vehicle unit, Wahyu hopes that all his staff can use it optimally in maintaining the sovereignty of the Republic of Indonesia.

"We will care for and guard the vehicle, understand each character who is driven, later we will schedule it to be given training to shoot using this vehicle," said Wahyu.
