KPK Calls Sinarmas Sekuritas Finance Director Regarding PT Taspen's Fictitious Investment Corruption

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned Julius Sanjaya, who is the Director of Finance and Accounting for PT Sinarmas Sekuritas today, Monday, September 2. He was questioned as a witness to alleged fictitious investment corruption at PT Taspen (Persero).

"The examination was carried out at the Red and White Building on behalf of JS as Director of Finance and Accountability of PT Sinarmas Sekuritas," said KPK Spokesperson Tessa Mahardika to reporters in a written statement, Monday, September 2.

The matter of the examination of witness JS has not been detailed. Tessa only said that her testimony was needed to investigate allegations of corruption at PT Taspen.

Meanwhile, Julius Sanjaya was questioned on Wednesday, July 3 in this case. At that time, he was questioned about investment in sukuk.

As previously reported, the KPK decided to increase the status of handling allegations of corruption at PT Taspen (Persero) from an investigation to an investigation. Antonius NS Kosasih who is the main director is inactive is a suspect in this case.

Kosasih has also been prevented from leaving the country for six months to facilitate the investigation of cases. This forced effort applies to Ekiawan Heri Primaryanto as President Director of Insight Investments Management.

PT Taspen is suspected of making fictitious investments of up to IDR 1 trillion in this case. It is suspected that the funds were diverted in a number of forms such as stocks to sukuk.
