PDIP politician Arteria Dahlan denied the pressure from great powers so that PDIP would not carry Anies Baswedan in the Jakarta and West Java regional elections. As stated by the Chairman of the West Java PDIP DPD, Ono Surono after Anies failed to advance in the 2024 West Java gubernatorial election.

"There is no (pressure, red) We just run it as a democratic maturation process. We are also in any circumstances, we are taught to fight to the last point of blood, last," said Arteria at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Friday, August 30.

The member of Commission III of the DPR emphasized that PDIP cannot be intervened. Moreover, according to him, PDIP Chairman Megawati Soekarnoputri is a firm and tough leader.

"PDIP cannot be interfered with. If friends say Pramono Anung was elected, it is a form of intervention there, nothing, Mrs. Mega cannot be intervened," he said.

"Mrs. Mega is a leader who is as fresh and solid as a rock, even if it is hit by ocean waves of any size. Even if it gets hit by a tsunami, Megawati is still Megawati, who is always behind," continued Arteria.

When asked about Ono's accusations against the figure 'Mulyono', Arteria was reluctant to respond. Including the question of what happened related to the dynamics of the West Java Regional Head Election. Arteria said the matter please be asked to Ono Surono.
