301 Masses Of Action Reject The Pilkada Bill Arrested, Including Director Of Lokataru And Children Of Machica Mochtar

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya and ranks secured 301 people from the mass demonstration against the revision of the Pilkada Law (RUU). Two of them are the Director of Lokataru, Del Pedro Marhaen and the son of the artist Machica Mochtar, Iqbal Ramadhan.

"There are 301 people who have been arrested by the Polda Metro Jaya, Polres Metro Central Jakarta, Polres Metro East Jakarta, and several Polsek and also Polres Metro West Jakarta," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi to reporters Friday, August 23.

Hundreds of people who were arrested with a plan of 50 at Polda Metro Jaya, 105 at Polres Metro West Jakarta, 143 people at Polres Metro East Jakarta, and 3 secured by Polres Metro Central Jakarta.

The reason the person's queen was arrested was because she was suspected of committing various crimes, such as attacking the police.

"Not heeding the warnings from our officers in the field, some are even suspected of committing violence against officers," said Ade.

Of the hundreds of people who were arrested, there are two names that are currently in the spotlight, namely Lokataru Director Del Pedro Marhaen and Iqbal Ramadhan who are the children of the artist Machica Mochtar.

"It is true that it was secured as well," he said.

Currently, some of the people who had been arrested have been sent home. Ade detailed, for example, that the West Jakarta Metro Police had repatriated the entire mass of the action.

Then, for Polda Metro Jaya, 7 people have returned. Thus, the remaining 43 people are said to be still in the process of being investigated.

"For those at Polda Metro 7, those who have been sent home from 50, 7 are 6 children and 1 woman," said Ade.
