JAKARTA - Gerindra Party Daily Chair Sufmi Dasco Ahmad admitted that his party would cooperate with the National Awakening Party (PKB) for the 2024 Jakarta Regional Head Election (Pilkada).
He said that this also confirmed a statement from the Deputy Chairperson of the PKB, Jazilul Fawaid, who previously explained the latest relationship between PKB and Gerindra.
"As Pak Jazilul said, there are some areas, for Central Java, West Java, and most likely in DKI Jakarta, right," said Dasco at the Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Tuesday, August 13.
The deputy chairman of the MPR RI said that later communication between Gerindra and PKB would continue to discuss the names that would be carried out as candidate pairs in the Pilkada.

Previously (13/8), PKB Deputy Chairman Jazilul Fawaid said that PKB would commit with Gerindra to oversee the government of Elected President for the 2024 General Election Prabowo Subianto. This commitment, he said, includes togetherness in the Pilkada.
For this reason, he also said that the proposal from the DKI Jakarta PKB DPW to support Anies Baswedan as a candidate for governor in the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada could not run smoothly.
"It's not attracting support, meaning that the proposal from the DKI PKB DPW has not been smooth. At first it was very smooth, it turned out that the weather showed changes," he said.
