List Of 10 Prosecutors Withdrawn By AGO From The KPK

JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office (AGO) revealed the names of 10 prosecutors who were withdrawn from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). Three of them had filled structural positions.

"There are Ahmad Burhanudin, Ali Fikri and Andhi Kurniawan," said Head of the Attorney General's Office, Harli Siregar, when confirmed, Monday, August 12.

For Ali Fikri, it is known that he had served as a spokesman for the anti-corruption agency. He has occupied that position since 2020.

While the other two are the Head of the KPK Legal Bureau Ahmad Burhanudin and the Head of the Drafting of Regulations and Legal Products of the KPK Andhi Kurniawan.

The other seven prosecutors who were also withdrawn by the AGO were Andry Prihandono, Ariawan Agustiartono, Arif Suhermanto, Atty Novianty, Arin Karniasari, Putra Iskandar, and Utami Points.

"Seven other functional (jaksa) there (KPK)," said Harli.

Apart from that, Harli emphasized that the withdrawal of the 10 prosecutors was not related to the handling of any cases.

"We emphasize that it is not related to the handling of cases, but because it is more in the process of refreshment," said Harli.

The reason for the underlying withdrawal is limited to the prosecutors who have served at the KPK for 10 to 12 years. So, it is deemed necessary to regenerate.

For his replacement, the AGO will send the prosecutor back to the KPK. However, for anyone or whose identity will be determined by the KPK and the AGO's Personnel Sector.

"The profile needed by the KPK will certainly be our common consideration," said Harli.
