Ubud Food Festival 2024 Becomes A Promotion Event To Educated Archipelago Culinary Tastes

JAKARTA - The Gianyar Regency Tourism Office together with the Mudra Swari Saraswati Foundation and PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk (CIMB Niaga) successfully held the Ubud Food Festival 2024 from May 31 to June 2, 2024, in the Ubud Culinary Park area, Bali.

This event presents the culinary flavor of the archipelago which is considered successful in increasing tourist visits.Deputy for Tourism Products and Activities Organizers of the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Vinsensius Jemadu said, Take it to the Streets became a big theme this year by highlighting the richness of local flavors in the authentic culinary nuances of the streets.

"The 2024 Ubud Food Festival is able to have a positive impact, not only on tourism but also on local communities, including introducing flavor diversity from various regions in Indonesia," Vinsensius said in his statement.

This festival presents 70 outlets that present a variety of typical culinary delights from various regions in Indonesia. With the concept of street-style presentations, visitors will be spoiled with a Nusantara authentic taste that is difficult to find elsewhere.

In addition to enjoying delicious dishes, this festival also offers a culinary education experience through paid workshops guided by well-known culinary experts.

Some of the speakers who will attend include Freddie Salim, Helianti Hilman, Reno Andam Suri, and Wayan Kresna Yasa. International experts such as Deepanker Khosla, Rui Yamagishi, and Makoto Tokuyama also took part, adding to global dimensions at this event.

Experience at the Ubud Food Festival 2024 is not only limited to culinary. Visitors can also enjoy screenings of cultural and culinary themed films, such as Stories from The Field, Janet DeNefe: Off the Beaten Track, Treasures of Sigi, and The Culinary Heritage of Bali. These films provide deep insight into the wealth of Indonesian cultural heritage.
