There Are Allegations Of Corruption In West Lombok Cattle Seed Assistance Worth IDR 2.2 Billion

JAKARTA - The Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara District Prosecutor's Office is investigating allegations of corruption in the program for the provision of cow seed assistance for the 2020 fiscal year in West Lombok Regency.

District Attorney Mataram Yusuf said that the investigation was still in the stage of collecting data and information from the parties involved in the implementation of the program.

"So the handling has not yet been investigated, it is still in data collection and information materials process", Yusuf said, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, March 24.

Therefore, Yusuf said the agenda for clarification was ongoing. Collecting documents related to program implementation is also included at this stage.

Regarding the alleged corruption, which stated that there was an error in the distribution of the size and condition of the calves distributed to the recipient, Yusuf was reluctant to comment. Instead, he confirmed that the allegation was still in the process of clarifying the prosecutor.

"Just wait, this is still being clarified. We will first observe the results, then we will know what the indications are", he said.

The cattle assistance procurement program for the 2020 fiscal year in West Lombok Regency is budgeted through the regional budget (APBD-P) with a budget ceiling of IDR 2.244 billion.

The budget execution is through the West Lombok Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Plantation Service (Distanakbun) with a self-estimated price arrangement (HPS) of IDR 2.234 billion.

In the project auction process, 34 participants participated. The winner is a company with the initials BJ from Bima City, which offers a price of IDR 1.977 billion. This procurement is for as many as 264 female cows.

There are also two other cattle breeding projects, namely the procurement project for exotic or simental cattle breeds with a budget ceiling of IDR 540 million. This procurement project was auctioned with a Self-Estimated Price (HPS) of IDR 539.25 million. The winner is a company with the initials NMU from Central Lombok with an offering price of IDR 489 million.

The company also won a bull seed procurement project with a budget ceiling of IDR 504 million. With the HPS auction of IDR 503.37 million, CV NMU gave a bid price of IDR 453.6 million.
