JAKARTA - Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs reminded its citizens not to visit Israel on travel warnings. Warnings were issued regarding rising tensions in the Middle East.
The Israeli ministry also urged Japanese nationals in Lebanon to leave the country.

"KLM's decision is based on security reasons, with companies not operating flights over Israel, Iran and Iraq," an airline spokesman was quoted as saying by Dutch news portal Nu.nl.
Air India said it was monitoring the situation in the area to ensure the safety of its passengers and crew.
"Given the ongoing situation in parts of the Middle East, we have suspended our scheduled flight operations to and from Tel Aviv until August 8, 2024," the airline wrote.
