JAKARTA - The theft at a house, on Pam Lama Street, East Cilandak, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta (Jaksel). CCTV video footage shows the perpetrator in action while the victim is sleeping in the living room.

The perpetrator who was wearing black clothes was seen carrying a sharp sickle type weapon. It appears that the perpetrator covered his face with a helmet.

The victim was fast asleep at that time, so the perpetrator walked casually so that his action was unknown. Not long after, the perpetrator took the victim's bag lying on the table.

After successfully taking the victim's belongings, the perpetrator left the scene.

Pasar Minggu Police Chief, Kompol Anggiat Sinambela confirmed the incident. The victim made a report on Friday, September 6, last.

"A check and processing of the crime scene with the victim has been carried out by the LP (Police Report) on Friday, September 6, 2024," said Anggiat when confirmed, Monday, September 9.

Anggiat also said that his party was investigating the case.

"Still under investigation," he said.
