5 Witnesses Request LPSK Protection In The Case Of Balita Daycare Wensen School Depok

JAKARTA - The Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) is still investigating the complaints from the legal team of witnesses in the alleged case of child abuse allegedly carried out by influencer parenting, as well as the owner of the daycare Wensen School Indonesia in Depok, Friday, August 2.

Head of the LPSK Application Research Bureau, Muhammad Ramdhan, stated that LPSK had received a complaint report regarding the protection of witnesses and victims that had been submitted.

"We will review the investigation. There are no threats and others. We are still collecting the chronology according to their role. What legal status must be determined first," said Ramdhan, Friday, August 2.

LPSK also confirmed the application for protection from witnesses related to the alleged abuse of children at the Wensen School Depok daycare.

"Witnesses consciously submitted a request for protection. Witnesses (original) in the school environment and in the surrounding environment. More than 5 witnesses," he said.

In addition, LPSK will also coordinate with the Depok Metro Police investigators regarding the extent of the investigation process that has been carried out by the Police.

"We will see this deepening, whether it really has anything to do with this incident or not. The five witnesses are outside the victim. The five witnesses vary," he said.

Previously, the police would examine three teachers from the daycare Wensen School Depok in handling cases of alleged child abuse with the suspect Meita Irianty alias Tata Irianty, influencer parenting.

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi said that the three daycare Wensen School teachers are planned to be questioned today.

"Today, 3 teachers will be examined who carried out activities at the TKP at the school in Wensen School," said Ade to reporters, Friday, August 2.
