Just Six Months Of Contracting, Residents Of Rawa Kuning Pulogebang Lost Bikes And Shoes Priced Millions

JAKARTA Just six months of contracting, one of the residents on Jalan Gang Masjid Al-Istiqomah, Rawa Kuning, Pulogebang, Cakung, East Jakarta, has become a victim of theft of millions of bicycles and shoes.

The theft carried out by two perpetrators was caught on CCTV cameras at the scene. In the CCTV camera footage, it can be seen that a perpetrator entered the victim's yard by climbing the fence.

The perpetrator is suspected of having targeted the presence of a mountain bike that was placed on the terrace of the victim's house. The perpetrator then lifted the bicycle and handed it over to the other perpetrators who were already waiting outside the fence.

Not only bicycles, the perpetrator also took the children's school shoes from the shoe rack. The incident was only discovered by Syahril, the owner of the house. Syahril only realized when he returned home after praying at the mosque.

"I just realized when I returned to prayer at the mosque. Then I saw nothing, I opened CCTV. I used to sleep here but I didn't hear it," he told reporters, Thursday, July 25.

Based on CCTV footage, the perpetrators were seen by two people. One perpetrator rode a motorbike and the other was carrying a stolen bicycle.

"There were 2 perpetrators, one entered. Another was waiting for the bicycle throw (outside the fence of the house). I'm here for a new 6-month rental," he said.

Furthermore, Syahril said, the perpetrator entered the yard of his house by climbing over the fence.

"So climbing from the side here, it just so happens that there is a stepprint next to it. The perpetrator took his bicycle, then passed it to his friend outside. He took a bicycle and 6th grade elementary school grandchildren's shoes. His bicycle was priced at 4 million, it's good that's his bicycle," he said.

Unfortunately, the perpetrator has not reported the theft to the Cakung Police.
