Controlling Illegal Parking Behind City Park Apartment In West Jakarta, Dozens Of Vehicles Acted By Joint Officers

Joint officers from the West Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Unit, TNI, Transportation Agency, and Civil Service Police Unit held a control of illegal parking on the shoulder of the road, precisely behind City Park Apartment, Cengkareng District, West Jakarta, Tuesday, July 23.

The Head of Traffic at the West Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Ridha Aditya, said that this illegal parking control activity was part of the Jaya 2024 compliant operation. The control involved 62 joint personnel from various agencies.

"We are controlling vehicles parked wildly on the shoulder of the road behind the City Park Apartment, Cengkareng, West Jakarta," said Kompol Ridha when confirmed, Tuesday, July 23.

Kasat appealed to the public to always maintain traffic order and ensure that the shoulder of the road is not used as a parking lot, which can disrupt the smooth running of traffic.

In addition to controlling illegal parking of two-wheeled vehicles, the Satpol PP controls street vendors operating in the area.

This is done to maintain order and cleanliness of the environment and reduce the potential for congestion.

"We have transported a total of approximately 32 vehicles, with details of 22 units being ticketed, 8 units of 2-wheeled vehicles being prosecuted on the spot and 2 units of four-wheeled vehicles being completed," he said.

This Jaya 2024 compliant operation is part of increasing public awareness and compliance with traffic regulations. With the control of illegal parking and street vendors, it is hoped that it can create a more orderly, safe, and comfortable environment for all road users.
