Asep Saepudin Strangled To Death By Wife, Children And Prospective Mantu, Victim Data Used For Pinjol

JAKARTA - The Bekasi Metro Police revealed a premeditated murder case committed by 3 suspects against Asep Saepudin, in Serang Village, Bekasi City, Thursday, June 27, at 17.00 WIB. Asep was poisoned to death by his wife, son and son's girlfriend.

Call it the main perpetrator, namely the victim's wife, with the initials J. While the other two perpetrators are SNA (the victim's child), along with his girlfriend, HP.

Bekasi Metro Police Chief Kombes Twedi Aditya Bennyahdi explained that the three perpetrators planned the murder of Asep. They mixed Soklin's detergent liquid into soda and Floridina's milk drink, at the victim's house on Tuesday, June 24, then.

Twedi also said that the perpetrators continued to try and return to planning the murder of Asep.

"The perpetrator tried to mix liquid Soklin liquid into Floridina's drink, but again it didn't work," he said.

HP, the victim's child's girlfriend, gave input to J and SNA to immediately strangled the victim to the point of not breathing.

"On Thursday, June 27, 2024 in the morning at around 03.30 WIB, Asep Saepudin's victim was killed by strangling and being tortured to death," he said.

Realizing that the target was dead, the three perpetrators used the victim's data to apply for online loans (pinjol) in two applications with a nominal value of Rp56,600,000.

"After the victim died, the HP perpetrator applied for an online loan of Rp. 13,000,000 from Adakami and Rp. 43,500,000 from Easy Cash. The money was then transferred to SNA's account and then to the HP account," he said

Satisfied with his actions, the three perpetrators fled. The police, who received the information, immediately gave chase until they finally managed to make an arrest.

Based on the confessions of the perpetrators, the motive for the premeditated murder was heartache and economic.

"Economic problems and heartache, as well as dislike for the relationship between SNA and HP," said Twedi.

Currently, the three of them are named as suspects. They were charged with Article 44 Paragraph 3 in conjunction with Article 5 of Law No. 23 of 2004 concerning Domestic Violence, Article 340 of the Criminal Code, Article 338 of the Criminal Code, and Article 351 Paragraph 3 in conjunction with Articles 55 and 56 of the Criminal Code.

"The threat of punishment faces including the death penalty, life imprisonment, or prison for up to 20 years," he concluded.
