DKI Dukcapil And Salemba Rutan Speed The E-KTP Recording Of Prisoners Ahead Of The 2024 Jakarta Pilkada Preparedness

JAKARTA - The Central Jakarta Class 1 State Detention Center or Salemba Detention Center continues to record e-KTP with the DKI Jakarta Dukcapil Office to determine voter data for correctional inmates (WBP) ahead of the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada.

Head of the Class I Detention Center of Central Jakarta, Fauzi Harahap, said that regarding preparations for the Pilkada, the Class 1 Central Jakarta Detention Center together with the Central Jakarta KPU had held a cooperation and coordination meeting.

The coordination meeting in question, continued Fauzi, is related to what things will be needed by the KPU from the Class 1 Detention Center of Central Jakarta, related to the data of the inmates and then the difficulties encountered in fulfilling the identities of the inmates.

In addition to the readiness to fulfill the identity of the inmates, the detention center will also determine how many polling stations will be made in the Class 1 detention area of Central Jakarta.

"How many TPS at the Class 1 Detention Center in Central Jakarta, we will determine that step. Last Sunday we became one of the organizations invited by the KPU to hold a stakeholder coodination meeting at the Pilkada activities," said Fauzi Harahap when confirmed by VOI, Thursday, July 18.

Meanwhile, regarding the provision of data, until now the Salemba Rutan continues to progress due to changes at any time when new prisoners or convicts are temporarily entrusted.

"But we are intensely conducting information with the KPU so that the fulfillment of the data continues to update, how much will increase and how much is lacking, we are always connected to the Central Jakarta KPU," he said.

Sementara ini, sekitar 95 orang WBP di Rutan Kelas 1 Jakarta Pusat masih belum punya KTP.

"We continue to progress this with the Civil Registry Population Service. We remain intense for the supervision and fulfillment of data from the WBP," he said.
