JAKARTA - Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia Abdulfattah Sulaiman Mashat appreciated the policy of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto who formed the Hajj Organizing Body as an equivalent ministry. "President Prabowo Subianto's policy to form a Hajj Organizing Agency equivalent to the ministry is the right step," said Abdulfattah, quoted from Antara, Thursday, December 26.

Abdulfattah's statement was conveyed to the Deputy Head of the Hajj Organizing Agency (BP Hajj) Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak during his working visit in Saudi Arabia. According to Abdulfattah, the step to establish a BP Haji is a strategic breakthrough to improve the focus on organizing the hajj, given the complexity of organizing the Hajj which involves millions of people from around the world, including from Indonesia. "With a more focused structure, this body will be better able to handle the complexity of organizing the pilgrimage and ensure optimal service for Indonesian pilgrims," he said. Meanwhile, the success of the Hajj Economic Ecosystem, which focuses on the empowerment and economic benefits of the people through Hajj services. Third, the Success of the Civilization and the Implementation of Hajj, by emphasizing the values of civilization, and maximum service for pilgrims as a reflection of the character of the Indonesian nation. "President Prabowo Subianto emphasized the importance of organizing Hajj which not only was ritually successful, but also created economic benefits for the people and reflected the values of the Indonesian nation's noble civilization," said Dahnil Anzar.

Responding to this, Abdulfattah Sulaiman Mashat expressed his readiness and commitment to cooperate in full with the Hajj Organizing Body, especially regarding the implementation of the Hajj which will be fully guarded in 2026. He also emphasized the importance of continuous communication with BP Haji in efforts to improve and optimize the best service for Indonesian pilgrims. "We are ready to provide full support to BP Hajj in preparation and implementation of Hajj, including long-term collaboration which aims to provide the best worship experience for Indonesian pilgrims," said Abdulfattah Sulaiman Mashat.
