Former PB HMI Ketum Arief Rosyid Appointed as AMPI Secretary General

JAKARTA - The plenary meeting of the IX DPP of the Indonesian Reformist Youth (AMPI) led by the General Chair of the AMPI DPP, Jerry Sambuaga, appointed Arief Rosyid Hasan as the Secretary General of the AMPI DPP for the remaining period of 2022-2027.

The appointment of the former Head of the PB HMI as Secretary General of the DPP AMPI in the plenary decision is part of the revitalization of the management to strengthen the consolidation of the organization at the national level.

The plenary meeting also agreed to revise the management structure in a number of strategic areas. In addition to the appointment of the Secretary General of the DPP AMPI, a number of figures from various backgrounds of youth organizations, including Cipayung Plus elements, are trusted to fill the DPP AMPI management ranks.

"Revitalization is also carried out for several other managers as part of strengthening the organization. This management arrangement is a strategic step to ensure that the organization is increasingly solid and able to respond to future challenges," said Jerry Sambuaga in his statement, Friday, July 24.

According to Jerry, the revitalization of the kepengurusan is not only aimed at refreshing the structure, but also strengthening internal coordination and increasing the effectiveness of the implementation of organizational programs at the national level.

The plenary meeting of the IX DPP AMPI, said Jerry, is part of the organization's mechanism in carrying out evaluations and strengthening management.

"Through the revitalized structure, the DPP AMPI is expected to carry out the functions of kaderisasi, consolidation, and building collaboration with various youth elements in supporting national development more optimally," he said.

As is known, Arief Rosyid Hasan is the former General Chairman of the Indonesian Student Association (PB HMI) for the period 2013-2015. In the 2019 election, Arief Rosyid was trusted as the Chairman of the TKN Fanta Victory of Prabowo-Gibran.

Currently in the Golkar Party, Arief Rosyid serves as the Secretary of the Golkar Party Academy, a central institution for political education, cadre training, and policy studies of the Golkar Party.
