JAKARTA - Cafe District 1947 in the Duren Sawit area, East Jakarta, is still operating as usual. Even today, Thursday, July 18, the cafe is still receiving guests. Whereas as is known, the place is the location of the case of alleged confinement and abuse of a teenager.

The operation of Cafe District 1947 was confirmed by the reported attorney, Suntan Satriareva. When confirmed, he confirmed.

"Cafe is still operating normally as usual, it remains open," said Suntan Satriareva, the attorney for the owner of Cafe District 1947.

Although the East Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) has conducted a crime scene at the cafe, Suntan ensures that cafe conditions will continue to operate.

According to him, processing the crime scene is part of the investigation process carried out by the Police. He will be cooperative and very open.

"This means that if it is true that there are allegations of criminal acts committed by my client, then please process them. But we also have legal remedies. Let it be clear later," he said.

He also mentioned that he also provided assistance during the crime scene processing.

"This is an examination related to confinement here, yes, the suspicion. We are only assisting in what processes and stages are in," he said.

Suntan said that no items were confiscated by the police while conducting a crime scene investigation. The police only took a photo of a number of the evidence.

"There is no (confiscation). This is still an investigation process. We entrust all the processes to the police," he said.
