Liga 1 2024/2025 Results: Persib Bandung Extends Unbeaten Record After Winning 3-1 From Persita

JAKARTA - Persib Bandung again managed to carve an impressive record in undergoing the 16th week of Liga 1 2024/2025. Entertaining Persita Tangerang, Maung Bandung extended his record of never losing.

Appearing at the Gelora Bandung Stadium in Lautan Api on Sunday, December 22 evening WIB, Persib, who hosted the 3-1 win over Persita Tangerang.

As the host, Persib Bandung immediately took the initiative to attack. In the seventh minute, Persib immediately threatened the Persita goal through David Da Silva's header after continuing Rachmat Irianto's cross, unfortunately the ball could still be blocked by Persita goalkeepers.

In the ninth minute the deadlock broke for Persib Bandung, the score changed 1-0 for the hosts. This result came after Beckham Putra Nugraha's low kick escaped the guard of the opposing goalkeeper.

Beckham immediately celebrated by unfurling Dedi Kusnandar's jersey, the Persib captain who was injured.

In the 16th minute, Persita defender Ryuji Utomo managed to break into Persib's goal through a header that made the score 1-1.

Persib almost doubled their lead in the 29th minute through a stab from Beckham. However, Beckham's flick was still slightly off the right side of the Persita goal.

In the 38th minute, Persib finally managed to return to the lead 2-1 through David Da Silva's goal through a rotating kick.

In the 45+2 minute, Persita got a golden opportunity through Marios Ogkmpoe's header. However, Marios' header was still slightly off the left side of the Persita goal as well as closing the first half.

Continuing in the second half, Persib managed to increase the advantage through Tyronne del Pino's goal. The goal started with the movement of Ciro Alves and fired a shot that classified the Persita goalkeeper and continued by Tyronne to a goal in the 51st minute.

In the 75th minute, Persita was forced to play with 10 players after Charisma Fathoni got a red card. The referee's decision was taken after checking VAR proved there was a very dangerous movement from Charisma when he beat Tyronne Del Pino in the leg.

Beckham Putra Nugraha's 88th minute brought Persib almost threatening Persita's goal. But unfortunately his shot was blocked by the opposing goalkeeper.

Until the match ended, no additional goals were created. This victory made Persib survive in second place in the League 1 standings by packing 35 points from 15 matches.

Meanwhile, Persita remains in 10th position in the standings by packing 24 points from 16 matches played.
