JAKARTA - Muhamad Normansyah, as the attorney for MRR (23) who was a victim of confinement and torture at Cafe District 1947, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta, appreciated the performance of the East Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim investigators for the ongoing legal process.

"The police have come to the TKP and have traced the evidence in the case. I am very happy with the performance of the police, they have really helped the victim," Normansyah told VOI, Thursday, July 18.

Investigators from the East Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim searched all corners of the 1947 District cafe based on information from the previous victim.

"It's like a bench was used for handcuffing or a stove used to hit the victim. It's just that from each statement, there is evidence that may not be found. But we are satisfied with the performance of the police," he said.

Normansyah hopes that the process will continue to the next process. He said, some time soon there will also be a witness summons and then there will be a summons for the reported party.

Previously, the East Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim conducted a crime scene (TKP) at the 1947 District cafe Duren Sawit, East Jakarta, Wednesday, July 17, evening.

From VOI's observation at the scene, the police collected a number of evidences from the scene of the incident which the perpetrators allegedly used to persecute the victim.

The tools are in the form of iron trash cans, stoves and iron benches. A number of these evidences were collected from a number of room points in the 1947 District cafe.

The police also processed the crime scene at a number of room points to the 2nd floor of the 1947 District cafe. The crime scene was attended by Units from the East Jakarta Metro Police.
