Police Send 4 Names To Capim KPK, 2 Of Them 3 Stars

The National Police sent four names to participate in the selection process for the leadership candidate (Capim) of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) for the period 2024-2029. Two of them are appointed as Commissioner General (Komjen).

"There are four names and this is part of the best personnel at the National Police," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, to reporters, Tuesday, July 16.

The four names are Komjen Setyo Budiyanto who is currently serving at the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan); Komjen RZ Panca Putra who is currently the Main Secretary of the National Resilience Institution (Sestama Lemhannas).

Then, Inspector General Djoko Poerwanto, who now serves as the Central Kalimantan Police Chief; and Inspector General Didik Agung Widjanarko who currently serves as Deputy for Coordination and Supervision of the KPK.

"We convey that the four personnel are the best personnel, where with the KPK's committee for the selection of candidates, of course the Police will answer as a proposal," said Trunoyudo.

Registration for the Capim and Supervisory Board (Dewas) of the KPK has been closed as of Monday, July 15, 2024. As many as 525 people have registered.

With details, the number of registrants for the KP Capim as many as 318 people consisted of 298 men and 20 women. Meanwhile, the 207 candidates for Dewas consisted of 184 men and 23 women.
