2 Victims Of Viral Savings Turned Out To Be Consumption Of White Pills Without Brands, 7 Suspects Arrested

SAMARINDA - South Kalimantan Police continue to develop a viral investigation into the epidemic phenomenon that resulted in two deaths and dozens of others being forced to be hospitalized. The South Kalimantan Police confirmed that the two victims of the viral tube turned out to be not consuming a tube, but taking white pills without a brand.

The South Kalimantan Regional Police through the Directorate of Drug Research conducted examinations of a number of witnesses. As a result, two victims, namely AR and S, turned out to have died not due to consuming a tube, but as a result of taking a white pill drug without a brand mixed with alcoholic beverages.

"But information from Sambang Lihum Hospital as well, there are also other mixtures including alcoholic beverages, there are also indications that conveyed to the deputy head of the hospital earlier, there were also those who consumed the convexity," said the Director of Drug Research at the South Kalimantan Police, Kombes Pol. Kelana Jaya, Tuesday 16 July.

According to him, currently the police have taken legal steps to take action against the warehousing phenomenon that occurred in the jurisdiction of the South Kalimantan Police. One of them is hunting down dealers and sellers of white pill drugs without a brand that is strongly suspected to have caused two deaths.

"Well, the investigative steps we are taking are, we are enforcing the law, if it is proven that he used white pills without a brand, we will take legal action, enforce the law," he added.

Based on data from the Directorate of Drug Research at the South Kalimantan Police, a number of police in the South Kalimantan region have arrested at least seven suspects suspected of being dealers or suppliers of white pill drugs without brands widely circulated in the South Kalimantan region.

Of the seven suspects, consisting of suspect M who was arrested by the South Kalimantan Police Narcotics Unit with evidence in the form of 20,000 white pills without a brand. Then, two suspects, namely MF and MA who were arrested by the Hulu Sungai Tengah Police with evidence of 1,000 pills.

Furthermore, the Banjarmasin Police also arrested three suspects, namely MS, IR, and SG with evidence of 900 white pills without a brand. The Banjarbaru Police also arrested one suspect with the initials MH with evidence of 600 white pills without a brand.

Meanwhile, the South Kalimantan Police continued to hunt down the dealers who supplied this brandless white pill to the South Kalimantan region, because it had resulted in two deaths after taking the drugs.
