JAKARTA - Delta Airlines expressed its apology after the airline-based social media account X in Atlanta, United States (US) disseminated the anti-Palestinian hate message.

Citing NBC News, Friday, July 12, Delta also admitted that she was wrong by removing the racist tweets on the grounds that it was not in line with the values of airlines in connecting the world.

The company said that the staff of the X Delta Airlines account manager and who were responsible for the tweet had been given a warning. The staff is also no longer involved in managing the Delta social media account.

This incident began with the upload of the X account @ilicateteslas which showed a photo of two Delta Airlines flight attendants on duty wearing Palestinian flag pins.

The pin is worn on the chest of the flight attendant uniform. On top of the tiny pin, there is a pin logo for Delta Airlines which is bigger in shape.

In the upload, the account provides a haphazard assessment of those who are pro-humane towards the Palestinian people, meaning that they support terrorist activities.

The hate speech was also followed by the assumption that the netizen's account was inconsequential that the Palestinian flag pin was the same as the Hamas badge.

"Since 2001 we have removed our shoes at every airport due to terrorist attacks in the US region. Now imagine you're boarding the @Delta flight and seeing workers with Hamas badges in the air. What are you doing?" write the @iliketeslas account.
