Rungkad During The Debate Of The US Presidential Election, Joe Biden Will Meet The Governor Of The Galang Democrats Support

JAKARTA - President of the United States (US) Joe Biden will hold a meeting with the Democratic governor. This meeting is said to be an effort to garner support after the appearance of the debate which was considered bad or rungkad.

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, chairman of the Association of Democratic Governors, will be at the White House to attend the meeting.

Some governors plan to attend in person, while others will attend virtually.

California Governor Gavin Newsom is expected to fly to Washington, DC, on Wednesday, July 3, to attend the meeting, a spokesman for the governor told CBS News.

Illinois Governor JB Pritzker is also expected to attend the meeting in person.

The meeting comes as White House and campaign team Biden seek to defend governors of the Democratic Party and other elected Democratic Party members after Biden's heated debate.

Texas's Lloyd Doggett representative became the first Democratic Party MP to ask Biden to withdraw from the presidential election, a suggestion the campaign team quickly rejected.

The meeting with the governors is important because until now, most of Biden's assistants and main advisers have contacted elected Democratic Party members to convince them after his debate speech.

Members of the Association of Democratic Party Governors made phone calls on Monday, July 1, to discuss ongoing responses to last week's debate and widespread concerns among state chief executives about Biden not making much socialization efforts to governors.

A few days after the debate, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, who hosted one of the fundraisers attended by the president and first lady on weekends in the New York region, was the only governor known to have spoken directly to Biden.

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear told reporters his "bad performance debate," but he will continue to support Biden as long as he continues to participate in nominations. Beshear says Biden is his candidate, and only he can make decisions about his candidacy."
