Many Students In North Jakarta Failed To Enter The Zoning Route Due To Unsuitable KK

Public Relations of the North Jakarta New Student Admission Post (PPDB) Region II, Retno Listyarti admitted that many were constrained by family cards (KK) which caused many prospective students to fail to enter the PPDB zoning route.

He gave an example, like the child who started his family in the Semper Barat area. But in the middle of the trip, his parents divorced.

Then the mother pulled the child to create a separate family that was domiciled in Semper Baru. However, the separation of the KK was only carried out after June 10, 2023.

"So it doesn't read the system and it could be the reason children fail to enter the intended school via the zoning route," said Retno when confirmed, Wednesday, June 26.

Retno said, if you want to move your family, so that you can enter school according to your zoning, it should be done one year earlier.

"KK cannot read the system and is considered a person who has just made a family member, because it had to be a year before," he said.

Retno also said that the problem could actually be solved, namely by coming to the nearest PPDB post.

"Because at this time, the PPDB post is also equipped with officers from the Population and Civil Registration Service (Dukcapil) so that if there are population problems like that, they will immediately be resolved so that children can continue to follow the zoning route," he said.
