Police Name 3 Suspects In Virgoun Case Using Methamphetamine With Women's Friends

JAKARTA - Musician Virgoun and his female friend with the initials PA were named suspects in the case of abusing methamphetamine by the West Jakarta Metro Police.

West Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes M Syahduddi said investigators from the West Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Unit had carried out a case title with the Wasidik Bureau of the Metro Jaya Police's Narcotics Directorate.

"Has named brother V and his female friend on behalf of PA as suspects," said Kombes M Syahduddi when confirmed, Monday, Friday 24.

Currently, investigators have also coordinated with the DKI Jakarta Provincial National Narcotics Agency (BNNP) to conduct an assessment of the suspects.

"We have named three people as suspects, namely V and also PA, their female friends, and also B or BGS who are providers of narcotics given to V," he said.

The police chief explained that the determination of the suspect was carried out yesterday after completing the case with investigators at the Wasidik of the Narcotics Directorate of the Polda Metro Jaya.

Previously, singer Virgoun alias VTP was arrested by the West Jakarta Metro Police along with a woman with the initials PA in a Virgoun boarding room in the Ampera area, South Jakarta, for drug abuse.

The boarding house is known to belong to Virgoun alias VTP in South Jakarta. Virgoun and PA were arrested on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at around 01.00 WIB.

Head of the West Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Investigation Unit, AKBP Indrawienny Panjiyoga, explained that the two were arrested in a boarding room owned by VTP in the Ampera area, South Jakarta.

"During the search, we secured evidence in the form of methamphetamine and a suction device," he said when confirmed by VOI, Friday, June 21.
