Devi, The Man Found Dead In Toren Air Had A Goodbye To His Mother Wants To Buy Coffee

TANGERANG - Devi Karmawan (27), a man who was found dead in a water toren in a rented house in Gang Samid Sian, Pondok Aren, South Tangerang (Tangsel), apparently said goodbye to his family to buy coffee. This was conveyed by Devi's mother, Darmiyati (55) when met by reporters at her residence, Tuesday afternoon, May 28.

Devi explained that she last met Devi on Saturday night, May 25. Darmiyati said, Devi left the house to buy coffee.

In fact, not only that, Devi had complained that she had caught a cold and asked to be dredged (kerok), even starving.

She also had time to ask for help because she wasn't feeling well. Experienced, 'It's really cold, Mom's stomach'. I said 'tomorrow, mom, I'm tired of coming home from work,' said Darmiyati.

"Then at night I was still talking to him, inside the house here, then he said goodbye to buy coffee. But he didn't come home," he continued.

Kendeti did this, before saying goodbye to buy coffee, Devi also admitted that she would pick up her nephew on Sunday, May 26, in the morning.

"Because (he said) 'there is a mission to pick up your nephew'. There are a lot of them," he said.

After saying goodbye to buy coffee, Devi did not return until Sunday, May 26. Even his brother met a number of his friends to find information on his sister's whereabouts.

Long story short, Darmiyati's neighbor reported that there was a body found in the water toren. It turned out that when his brother checked it, the body was Devi.

"There is a corpse in the toren, tattooed. Let's see. Then I contacted his brothers. When he saw it, it turned out to be my son. Tomorrow I will see on Facebook an unidentified man, it's strange," he said.

Now Devi's body has been taken to the Police Hospital, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta for an autopsy to determine the cause of the victim's death.
