Pullman Bus Stop Front Arrested, Menteng-Gambir Region Specialist

JAKARTA - A robber with the initials RF alias Buyung (30) was arrested by members of the Menteng Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit. The perpetrator was arrested while in action in front of the Pullman Bus Stop, Menteng District, Central Jakarta.

"From his statement, the suspect RF has carried out robbery 12 times. Nine crime scenes in the Menteng area, and 3 crime scenes in the Gambir area," said Menteng Metro Police Chief, Kompol Bayu Marfiando, Monday, May 27.

The suspect RF is a specialist in robbery in the Menteng and Gambir areas. From the arrest of RF, the police carried out developments on other suspects. Then the police again arrested the stolen cellphone collectors as a result of snatching from the suspect RF.

"We also secured the suspects with the initials MIA (31), IS (31), DJ (34) and A. They are stolen cellphone holders," he said.

In addition to confiscating the perpetrator's motorbike, the police also confiscated various types of stolen cellphones.

"Only one victim has made a report, there is also a DPO for collectors that we are after. The result is snatching handohone for daily life," he said.

Meanwhile, regarding the suspect RF having a network or syndicate, the Sector Police Chief has not been able to confirm it.

"We are still investigating, they have repeatedly. Whether there is a network or not, we are still investigating it," he said.
