Suspects In The Vina Cirebon Case Allegedly Tortured In Detention, Police Say They Beat Each Other

West Java (Jabar) Regional Police (Polda) denied the issue that the suspects in the murder and rape of Vina and Rizky alias Eki in Cirebon were tortured by the police. He confirmed that the injuries obtained by the suspect were due to the commotion of fellow detainees at the detention center.

"It is indeed crowded on Facebook that they were tortured, but at the time of the examination it appeared that it was also carried out by fellow detainees," Surawan told reporters at the West Java Regional Police, Sunday, May 26.

Surawan continued, one of the suspects in the murder of Vina Cirebon also hit each other. So that he got wounds on his face.

"Yes, even in the detention center, one of the suspects was beaten by one of them, this was revealed," he said.

Following up, the police have examined 15 of its members who guarded the incident at the time of the incident beating each other. The case has been withdrawn to the West Java Regional Police.

"They were also tortured to bengep-bengep where at that time they appeared on Facebook and then it was theame which then made this case withdrawn to the West Java Police," he said.

These 15 police officers who were on guard at the time of the incident beating each other's detainees have also been given disciplined action related to negligence on guard.

"So their fellow detainees beat each other so that they were bruised, and 15 members had been subjected to disciplinary action," he said.
