Ganjar Yakin Megawati's Speech About PDIP Cadres Not Goyang-goyang Bukan Sindir Jokowi

PDI-P (PDIP) politician Ganjar Pranowo believes PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri did not intend to insinuate President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) when asking his cadres not to shake.

This was conveyed by Ganjar in response to Megawati's political speech at the opening of the PDIP National Working Meeting on Friday, May 24. The 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia had mentioned that it was difficult for many people to survive as cadres of the party bearing the bull symbol because some were rocking.

"No (not for Jokowi, ed)," said Ganjar to reporters, Friday, May 24.

Ganjar emphasized that Megawati's speech should be a reminder of PDIP cadres. "The cadres must be upright and straight like that. You can't go left, to the right," he said.

For Ganjar, Megawati was not accusing anyone in her speech. The 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia, he said, was only evaluating the 2024 General Election process which had just been completed.

"If you want to see what PDIP's attitude was to listen to the mother's speech (Mega) earlier. If you don't need to use the analysis, it's very clear what happened," he continued.

Megawati in her speech mentioned that many of her party cadres did not last long because they were shaking or did not have loyalty. However, not a few of them have high loyalty, one of which is Basuki Tjahja Purnama or Ahok.

At that time, Megawati even told Ahok's moment of asking for time to meet him. Apparently, at that time he wanted to say goodbye as President Commissioner of PT Pertamina (Persero).

"I want to say goodbye. I think abroad, right, so I just said, 'yes, I've been gone, souvenirs'. Suddenly, 'no, ma'am. I want to leave Pertamina'," said Megawati when telling the moment of Ahok's permission to resign from his position in front of the cadre and invited guests during a political speech at the opening of the PDIP National Working Meeting, Friday, May 24.

"How come I left Pertamina?, 'because I'm not in line with my boss'," he repeated Ahok's answer.
