JAKARTA - The prisoner's car convoy was attacked by armed gangs while passing through Incarville, France. Two officers were shot dead, three others injured.
The attack involved four members of an armed gang using a machine gun blocking the prisoner convoy car which was originally to be handed over to the judge in Rouen.

One of the cars used to escape, white Audi A5, was found on fire in the town of Watteville. While the second car, BMW series 5, was seen heading towards Louviers and Evreux.
French Justice Minister confirmed two guards were killed and three seriously injured.
