TANGERANG - Violating the police professional code of ethics (KKEP), three members of the Tangerang City Metro Police were officially dismissed with disrespect (PTDH).

The dismissal was officially carried out after a ceremony was held led by the Tangerang City Metro Police Chief, Kombes Pol Zain Dwi Nugroho.

The three police officers who were fired were not present, so the dismissal was carried out symbolically by crossed out the photo of the uniformed member.

The three dismissed members were proven to have violated the Indonesian National Police Regulation Number 7 of 2022 concerning the Professional Code of Ethics after an examination and trial was carried out by the Police Code of Ethics Commission.

"Two of them were fired for being involved in drug abuse cases, and one was related to neglect of their legal children and wives," said Zain in his statement, Tuesday, April 30.

Zain hopes that today will be the last time he has made PTDH against members, and that no more members will be dishonorably dismissed in the future.

Zain also emphasized to all its members, if they will commit violations or criminal acts, think again. Because, he said, there was an impact that would occur.

"Every service wherever there is a risk. So, we must be ready to commit to having a heart, clear mind reason, high integrity, for that we must remember the family so that it becomes motivation to avoid negative things," said Zain.

He also advised his members to be more introspective and always take care of each other and remind each other. Because then the dignity of the honor of the Police will always be maintained.

"For other fellow personnel, let's be vigilant together and remind each other to maintain the dignity of the Polri institution, where we serve our beloved Indonesian country," he said.
