JAKARTA - The man with the initials JMP (25) became the main executor in the case of the death of Ahmad Efendi (31) who was found dead in the Sodong River, Pulogadung District, East Jakarta.

In the robbery mode of street crime, JMP is tasked with stopping victims when crossing Jalan Kalimalang, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta.

The incident began last Sunday, May 12. That afternoon, victim Ahmad Efendi was riding a Honda Beat motorbike on Jalan Raya Bekasi, Kalimalang, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta.

The victim drove from Jakarta to Bekasi. While passing in the Kalimalang area, the victim's motorbike was suddenly stopped by a gang of perpetrators using the modus operandi of being a debt collector.

One of the five people in the group of robbers with debt collector mode then accused the victim of not paying motorcycle installments.

"For fear, the victim answered for a month. The JMP perpetrator immediately took the victim's motorbike and rode the victim's motorbike. The victim was carried by JMP until he ended up in the Sunter River or Sodong River area," said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly to reporters, Friday, May 17.

Due to the situation on the side of the Sunter River or Sodong River being quiet, the perpetrator then stopped his vehicle. Meanwhile, other suspects with the initials YBL (36), DL (22), DM (DPO) and A (DPO) participated in monitoring the situation.

"The JMP suspect then hit the victim 3 times. Twice in the face and head, then there was a shot in the victim's stomach," he said.

While in the Sunter River, the perpetrators and the victim chatted by continuing to scare the victim on charges that he had not paid the motorbike installments.

"In the Sunter River they chatted for a while and JMP invited the victim to chat on the edge of the Sunter River. The perpetrators continued to threaten the victim to give him a motorbike but the victim did not want to give his motorbike," he said.

The perpetrator then kicked and pushed into the Sodong River stream. As a result of the perpetrator's actions, the victim fell into the Sunter River and hit the concrete sheet of the Kali sheet.

"It turned out that when he was pushed, the victim's face was hit by concrete on the river. After one day the victim was already at the river, finally the victim's body was found on Monday, May 13 at around 17.00 WIB in Sunter River (Kali Sodong)," he said.

From the autopsy results on the victim's body, it is known that the cause of the victim's death was due to the lungs of the victim with a lot of water and mud.

"The results of the VER in the lungs of the victim were a lot of water and mud because one day he was inside the river. When the victim was pushed into that time, the victim was still alive," he said.

The perpetrators then left the crime scene (TKP) and returned to their respective homes with the victim's motorbike for sale.

"The JMP suspect also sold the motorbike to a collector with the initials N (DPO). The perpetrator sold the victim's motorbike for Rp. 4 million. The proceeds from the sale were divided by an average of 800 thousand per person," he said.

As a result of their actions, the three suspects were charged with multiple articles, namely Article 338 of the Criminal Code, 365 of the Criminal Code, 351 of the Criminal Code and 170 of the Criminal Code.
