Prince Harry Says His Father Is No Longer Receiving His Calls, After Diana's Death

JAKARTA - Prince Harry said he felt let down by his father Prince Charles, and that his late mother Diana would be angry and upset with the way the British royal family treated his wife Meghan.

In an interview on CBS, Harry revealed he would not have stepped down from the royal family, had it not been for Meghan Markle. Because he felt trapped but did not know if he was being trapped.

"I feel very disappointed because he has been through something similar. He knew what the pain was like. I will always love him but there are many wounds that occur", said Prince Harry about his father as reported by Reuters.

“My family has really cut me financially. But I have what my mother (Princess Diana) left behind and without it, we would not be able to do this", he added.

Furthermore, Harry revealed that Prince Charles had stopped receiving calls from him. He denies blinding his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, by saying he respects her too much.

“I had three conversations with my grandmother, and two with my father before he stopped taking my calls. And then he said, 'can you write all this down?'", he said.

He was asked why Prince Charles had stopped taking his calls, Prince Harry answered.

“At that time I made my own decisions, I needed to do this for my family. This is no surprise to anyone. It's sad that it's up to this point, but I have to do something for my own mental health, my wife, and also for Archie", he said.
