The Corruption Eradication Commission Secretly Named Regional Owned Enterprises Boss Suspected Of Corruption In Land Purchase Of IDR 0 Down Payment Program

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is reportedly investigating cases of alleged corruption in the purchase of land in several locations for the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government's IDR 0 Down Payment Program by DKI Jakarta Regional Owned Enterprises (BUMDs).

One of them is the purchase of 41.921 square meters of land in Munjul area, Pondok Ranggon Village, Cipayung District, East Jakarta in 2019.

The handling of this case has been upgraded to the investigation stage and a number of parties have been named as suspects.

Based on the information gathered, one of the suspects was YC, a Managing Director (Dirut) of a BUMD DKI Pemprov.

The suspects, including YC, were charged under Article 2 paragraph (1) or Article 3 of Law Number 31 of 1999 as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning Eradication of Corruption in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code.

The KPK investigating team is even reported to have moved quickly to investigate this case by searching a number of locations. One of them is an office in the Cibubur area, East Jakarta on Wednesday, March 3. From this search, the investigation team secured various documents related to this case.

However, until this news was published, the KPK spokesman, Ali Fikri, and a number of KPK leaders had not yet responded to the confirmation that was sent.
