PKB Describes 8 Agendas Of Amendments Entrusted To Prabowo, One Of Which Guarantees Freedom Of Criticism

JAKARTA - The National Awakening Party (PKB) has entrusted their 8 agenda changes to Prabowo Subianto as the elected president of the 2024 General Election.

The agenda for this change has been conveyed directly by PKB Chairman Muhaimin Iskandar to Prabowo some time ago.

The Instagram account dpp_pkb outlines the eight agendas. One of them is guaranteeing freedom in criticism. Here are the details:

1. Caring for and strengthening the quality of democracy2. Guaranteeing the freedom of the people to speak and criticize 3. Guarantee the freedom of the press as the 4th pillar of democracy4. Expand the opportunity to try and create jobs5. Realize fair wages and guarantee access to economic equality6. Maintain environmental sustainability and ecosystem balance7. Realize sustainable ecological justice8. Prioritizing environmental ethics and development

On Wednesday, April 24, Cak Imin handed over eight agenda changes to his party to Prabowo Subianto at the PKB DPP office, Cikini, Central Jakarta.

Cak Imin hopes that the eight agenda changes can be input to the future Prabowo-Gibran government. Where Prabowo will be sworn in as the 8th President of the Republic of Indonesia in October.

"PKB also conveyed to Pak Prabowo as the President-elect, 8 agendas for changing PKB where 8 PKB agendas were handed over to 08 to become the subject of a struggle as well as a special agenda for Pak Prabowo's government in the future," said Cak during a press conference at the PKB DPP Office, Cikini, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, April 24.

In front of Prabowo, Cak Imin then stated that PKB wanted to continue to collaborate with the Gerindra Party. Both continue political cooperation both in Parliament and in government.

"PKB and Gerindra as parties that have been working together in parliament and in executives, want to continue to work together more productively. Moreover, Pak Prabowo as President-elect will face various development agendas that are so challenging in the future," said Cak Imin.

According to the Deputy Speaker of the DPR, the success of development is the success that all people hope for. "And PKB wants the people to smile happily in the future because of progress and prosperity," he said.

"Therefore, we hope that PKB and Gerindra will continue to collaborate in various fields of legislation and in various efforts to realize their success towards a just and prosperous society," continued Cak Imin.
