Efforts To Search For Bagedur Lebak Beach Tourists Who Drowned In The Waves Continued Tomorrow

The tourists who drowned while swimming on the coast of Bagedur Beach, Lebak Regency, Banten have not been found until tonight. The victim is thought to have been rolled up by high waves while swimming.

"We are forced to carry out search and rescue to continue on Monday," said Head of the Banten Al Amrad SAR Office in a statement in Lebak, Antara, Sunday, December 22.

Tourists who had a sea accident are known as Fauzi. He and his colleagues were swimming on Bagedur Beach. But suddenly the victim was dragged by high waves and then drowned.

The victim was dragged by high waves into the middle of the sea and disappeared and has not been found. The SAR team involving other joint teams carried out the victim's investigation around the scene of the incident (LKP).

The marine accident occurred at 05.30 WIB and the victim and his colleagues from the Kelapa Dua Islamic Boarding School, Tigaraksa, Tangerang Regency.

The students from Tiga Raksa Tangerang Regency were on vacation on weekends and went to Bagedur Beach to swim.

"We hope that the search will continue tomorrow and the victims can be found," he explained.

One of the victim's colleagues said the victim was helping a colleague who almost drowned and was rescued.

Currently, the victim is still being searched by the SAR team in coordination with the potential for the Lebak SAR, equipped with rubber boats and attached motors.

The search for victims is focused on sweeping via land with a radius of 1 km from the LKP with a search via the sea not being carried out due to a wave height of between 3-5 meters.
