Population Intensive Settlement In Kemayoran Hangus Was Devoured By Fire

JAKARTA - A semi-permanent building in a densely populated residential area of Jalan Kemayoran Gempol, RT 09/03, Kebon Blank Village, Kemayoran District, Central Jakarta, was destroyed by the red rooster on Wednesday, April 17, afternoon.

Central Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service (Sudin Gulkarmat) officers who arrived at the location were still struggling to extinguish the fire.

The fire incident occurred at around 13.20 WIB. Then residents reported it to the nearest fire post.

"We have deployed 15 fire engines with 75 officers to the location. The object caught fire at the residence," said Head of Central Jakarta Gulkarmar Sub-dept., Asril Rizal when confirmed by VOI, Wednesday, April 17.

The fire quickly continued to burn and emit black smoke billowing into the air. Burned buildings are made of wood and plywood boards, so that the fire can spread easily.

"The house lives semi-permanent," he said.

Meanwhile, the cause of the fire has not been confirmed by the Central Jakarta firefighters. Currently, officers are still in the process of extinguishing the fire.

"The situation is still yellow, it is still in the process of extinguishing the fire. The cause is not yet known," he said.
