JAKARTA - The theft in the Cakung area, East Jakarta, has occurred again. An expedition car or freight delivery car on Jalan Jati Elok Blok D2, Pangolinan Village, Cakung District, East Jakarta was stolen.

The victim named Satrio (47) said the theft occurred when he had finished committing the sahur. The incident was completed at dawn and continued the dawn prayer.

The theft, said Satrio, started with the sound of a car engine in front of his house. Based on this suspicion, he immediately left the house to confirm it. Satrio was surprised that his car was running with an unknown person.

Realizing that the victim's action was known to the victim, the perpetrator immediately stepped on the gas with the stolen car. The victim apparently had time to chase the perpetrator in his car.

"I was seen with me in front of the car wash and then I took out a motorbike that was speeding, the fault was that at the T-junction I entered the right road, and he apparently went left, I went right to Jalan Raya Bekasi it didn't exist, then I turned back most likely he went left at the time of the T-junction," he told reporters, Monday, April 1.

Furthermore, Satrio took the initiative to check the CCTV footage installed at his neighbor's residence. Based on CCTV footage, the perpetrator appears to be acting with two people riding a motorbike.

It's just that the CCTV camera only records one perpetrator with the characteristics of wearing a hat, red shirt, and blue jeans shorts. While the other perpetrator is not visible from CCTV footage.

"There were two perpetrators, they took motorbikes, first they went around here going around the complex twice, maybe they surveyed the environmental situation, then one person who was riding down and then he ran over and he took the car, the one who was carrying the motorbike waiting across from the other just left," he said.

The old man was surprised to learn about the incident. Because around the location at that time, which was parked in various types of vehicles and he considered it to have a higher selling price than his car.

So he revealed that the perpetrators had collaborated with various parties to steal their vehicles.

"I'm confused about what was taken here (box car). There are many good cars here, there is Ertiga, there is Fortuner, instead it is taken, even a box car like this, it seems that the perpetrators are the same as the collectors," he said.

The victim admitted that he had made a report to the Cakung Police.
