Ministry Of Transportation Opens Free Homecoming Quota With Buses For 10,000 People, This Is The Destination Area

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Transportation through the Directorate General of Land Transportation has reopened free homecoming registration by bus. This time, the quota provided is 10,000 people for homecoming and return flow.

For information, the Directorate General of Land Transportation has opened registration for free Eid 2024 homecoming on March 6, 2024 with a quota of 30,088 for homecoming and return flow. The quota has been fulfilled in the city destination for homecoming and backflow.

Director General of Land Transportation, Hendro Sugiatno said this addition was carried out in connection with the great enthusiasm of the community who will take part in the free homecoming program during Eid 2024/1445 H transportation and to reduce the number of travelers with motorbikes.

"The Directorate General of Land Transportation has prepared a quota for 10,000 people so that it is hoped that the community can make the best use of this quota. The system is the same as before, who can get it quickly. With this, the Directorate General of Hubdat provides a total quota of 40,088 people for free homecoming in 2024," he said in an official statement, written Sunday, March 31.

The Rician, said Hendro, the number of passengers on the homecoming flow was 8,680 people and the backflow was 1,320 people. The registration of the entire quota will be carried out starting Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 08.00 WIB through the MitraDarat application.

"Registration will be closed if the quota has been fully met," he said.

For your information, the addition of this free homecoming quota for departures on April 6 and 7, 2024 at 10.00 WIB to 26 homecoming destinations. Departures via 5 terminals are Poris Plawad, Pondok Cabe, Kampung Rambutan, Pulo Gebang and Jatijajar.
