Directives From Jokowi Regarding Explosion Incident At Gud Cheap Kodam Jaya

TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto said that Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) had given directions regarding the fire at the Regional Munisi Warehouse (Gud cheap) Kodam Jaya, Ciangsana Village, Bogor Regency.

"Yes, so that it will be resolved immediately. If anyone is affected, it will be resolved immediately," said Agus in Bogor Regency, West Java, Sunday, March 31.

In addition, Agus said that the Acting Governor of West Java Bey Machmudin was ready to help with the fire case.

"The Acting Governor of West Java is also ready to help if there are losses, damage to people's homes," he said.

Meanwhile, Agus explained that the ammunition that had expired in Gud Sebelah came from the remnants of training or findings.

"And systematically the ammunition will actually be detonated, disposal (dismantled) its name in Pameungpeuk (Garut Regency, West Java). Of course, through systematic inspection and so on," he said.

Agus also explained that since Sunday at 03.45 WIB, the fire in Gudpur Kodam Jaya has been extinguished.

"Then, the steps taken after the explosion, Pangdam Jaya assisted by the Jihandak Unit (Explosive Disposal) and POM (Military Police) to carry out sweeping and cleaning at the blast site," he explained.

He also said that the Territorial Unit had recorded and checked the settlements around the explosion.

"And it is hoped that if people find debris or casings, they will be reported to the authorities," he hoped.
