JAKARTA - Pertalite gasoline mixed with water at gas stations 34,17106, Jalan Ir. H. Juanda, near Bekasi Station, Bekasi City, turned out to be a trick by a group of people who allegedly wanted to make a profit by getting compensation.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Bekasi Metro Police, AKBP Muhammad Firdaus, said that his party had arrested 5 perpetrators who were involved in mixing gasoline with water at the gas station.

"Meanwhile, 5 people have been arrested," said Firdaus when confirmed, Wednesday, March 27.

The results of the initial examination of the perpetrators, continued Firdaus, 2 of the 5 people who were arrested were positive for those who interfered in the water with the iron at the gas station.

"Yang sudah positif 2, pendriver sama kenek ini yang memang senjak memixkan gas dengan air," katanya.

Previously, there was a scene of finding mixed gasoline at gas stations 34,17106, Jalan Ir. H. Juanda, near Bekasi Station, Bekasi City, West Java, followed up by the Bekasi City Government (Pemkot), Wednesday, March 27.

This finding began with the presence of several motorbikes and cars that suddenly broke down after filling fuel oil (BBM) at gas stations 34,17106. After being investigated, it turned out that the pertalite type fuel was indicated to be mixed with water.

The incident occurred on Monday night, March 25, 2024. The incident occurred at around 21.00 WIB. The vehicle owners also complained to the gas station while carrying a sample of Pertalite fuel mixed with water.
