Prevent Bullying Among Students, Police Provide Counseling In Each School

JAKARTA - The Women and Children Service Unit (PPA) of the East Jakarta Police provides bullying counseling at SDN 11 and 12 Pagi Rawa Bunga, Jatinegara, East Jakarta. This activity was attended by school principals, teaching staff and staff, as well as class III students until class VI.

"If you see or experience it, it is hoped that you will immediately report it to the teacher or family to be followed up immediately," said Head of PPA AKP Sri Yatmini when confirmed, Tuesday, March 19.

According to him, bullying must be prevented as early as possible because it has a very bad impact on the victims and perpetrators. This incident can also occur during elementary to middle school levels which are juvenile delinquency today.

The purpose of the socialization is so that students can protect themselves from actions that can harm others and themselves such as acts of harassment.

"To overcome bullying requires the cooperation of all schools as well as students to understand the losses of bullying," he said.

AKP Sri added, from the material provisions related to the prevention of bullying, educators, students are expected to understand the impact and sanctions. So that it is expected to prevent bullying in schools or outside schools.

"The point is for educators or teachers to provide understanding regarding bullying to their students. This is bullying, sometimes the difference is still not understandable and causes conflict between children," he said.

He asked students to avoid this act, because it risks breaking the law, resulting in harm to themselves when dealing with the law.
